The countdown is on!
Bracebridge is celebrating its 150th anniversary in 2025, and we're starting to plan the celebration. Thank you to everyone who submitted an idea for consideration. All of the ideas will be reviewed by the Bracebridge 150 Committee.

We're looking for local businesses, event organizers and community groups who are celebrating a milestone in 2025 and that would like to be included in the Bracebridge 150 calendar of events or incorporate an element of the sesquicentennial in their event planning. Complete the survey below to tell us about your milestone.
Volunteers Wanted
While we've got a ways to go before the big celebration, we're starting to prepare. We are looking for volunteers to help bring the Bracebridge 150 celebration together. Roles and responsibilities of event volunteers will be determined and shared at a later date once the event plan is established. Those interested in volunteering can submit their details in the survey below.

We could add a second bus that travels in the opposite direction as the current bus for historical moments.
There could be posts throughout Bracebridge telling of the history of the town and important places along the way. It could also be a walking tour for the areas that are accessible to most. A second bus would enable easier travel throughout town. Once a month these buses could be a tour guide bus route.

Reunions
Host a similar event for every graduating class from BMLSS. 50 weeks for 50 graduating classes. Same event every Saturday that focuses on a re-connecting. Invite our OMHA champion teams to come back and be recognized. I'm sure there are other sports that have champions; bring them home and have them recognized.
