Let's Talk Transit!

Bracebridge Transit would like to thank all residents who participated in the Community Transit Survey. This survey has now closed and results are being reviewed and shared with the consultant group (Left Turn Right Turn Ltd.) in order to support their work in creating a five-year plan for Transit Operations.

The Town of Bracebridge has engaged Left Turn Right Turn Limited (LTRT) to assist in a review of the Town’s transit services, both the conventional and specialized service, in order to provide direction for Bracebridge Transit that best reflects the needs, values and priorities of the community through a five-year plan.

The Town believes that a focused and detailed evaluation of the Town’s transit system will help to enhance staff’s commitment to on-going effective management and continued quality service of Bracebridge Transit and Bracebridge Mobility.

Bracebridge Transit and Bracebridge Mobility have been operating in Town since 2016 and 2017 respectively, with immense success across the community and, prior to the COVID-19 Pandemic, monthly ridership had more than doubled as of January 2020. As we come upon the transit service’s fifth year, it is time to start planning for the next five years.

We cannot further evaluate Bracebridge Transit without first speaking with the residents of our community - we want to hear from you!

To participate, take the Community Transit Survey. You don’t have to ride transit to have your say. This survey is available from November 4, 2020 to November 20, 2020. Your feedback will be used to make recommendations for the on-going improvement of Bracebridge Transit.
