Construction could commence as early as Fall 2026, subject to final approvals, confirmation of funding, and execution of definitive agreements. Occupancy would be anticipated approximately two years after construction begins. More specific timelines will be confirmed and shared publicly as the project progresses.

The future rental units will be owned and administered by Habitat for Humanity Ontario Gateway North and the District Municipality of Muskoka. Each organization will determine its own application procedures, eligibility requirements, and rental rates in accordance with its policies and applicable housing regulations.
